i didn't say he couldn't i just said it would be difficult. also when they're deployed, sf boys typically spend all their free time in the gym. that's a lot. even when they're home, their training and drills are constantly keeping them active. decent shape is fine, but he won't be like he was when he was in. also, an mc isn't just a group of people who like to ride, it's a brotherhood, a lot like you'd find in the armed forces (it helps that a lot of the guys in mc's are retired military). if he wasn't feeling the brotherhood, no amount of blackmail in the world would keep him in the club because he wouldn't want to wear the patch. the way the mc world works is: club, family, job, everything else. each member has a different level of commitment, but there are minimum attendance requirements, and being in a club is a commitment.
Gage was never a "really active" member. Remember the story.. Sam White Cassie's father didn't like him. He tolerated him. Cassie blackmailed her father to keep Gage in the club. Gage is in decent shape. If the doctors I work for can work 12 to 14 hour days 5 days a week most of in the OR and still find time for the gym.. one mechanic biker former S.E.A.L an as well.
no not 20, but it does help when physical fitness is a part of your job. trust me, between work and club, it's really hard to find the time to maintain yourself. i can barely find time to go to the gym, but with the weight i'm putting on, i've got no other choice... except ballon up.
And I politely disagree. You don't need to spend 20 hours a day in the gym to maintain physical fitness.

boxer is a delta i understand keeping up, but with a full time job and club life he wouldn't be able to maintain himself like in SF. how old is he?
as far as I know there is only john and now gage. you would have to ask Re1n that question.
he's been out of action 2 years. He's in very good shape. Gage can be rather OCD about things. He took a beating once that nearly killed him. He sort of decided after that that never again would someone do that to him. He kept up his skills by training another person.. his wife.
SEALs get all the hype, but the real animals, imho, are Green Berets, Delta Force, and MARSOC. that doesn't change the fact that some infantry grunt would be absolutely destroyed in one on one. it comes down to training: SOCOM forces are cross trained in a variety of skills and disciplines (you remember me talking about johns ability to handle explosives, though he's not a combat engineer?) this includes hand to hand disciplines. even if she was dilligent in her studies of martial arts, with combat experience, and nonstop training his skills would surpass hers. of course it also depends how long he's been out of the game. if he's been out ten years, he may have the knowledge but it is unlikely that he will have the physical conditioning to keep up like he used to. my money is still on the SEAL but there are a lot of factors that come into play. btw what's with the abundance of special forces in this rpg? i didn't know that many existed.
he's a S.E.A.L.. how bad do you think this will be?
