I would find a place to hide until the excitement dies down. All the large buildings are out. Some kind of smaller hole in the wall shop with at most 2 exits and roof access would be ideal. Less glass front the better. Someplace people wouldn't run to first in a emergency like an arcade or even some abandonned boarded up building would be good. Even a small used car dealership or something near one. After the storm blows over, you're going to need wheels. I'd keep my eye out for a weapon of some kind, melee or pew pew.
