I love that the helicopter on has come true in a way we didn't even think about. They had two and one goes down in a blaze of glory. 0 Likes, 0 Add to Bug Hunter, 0 Grammar, 0 WAPoints 0 0 0 0
No, I mean you won't see the rabbits, because they live in warrens during the day & only emerge around dusk to eat, I doubt there'd be any deer loose in the parks, but if you could "liberate" some from a zoo, they'd give you a start on breeding stock. As for "hunting what you can't see", - necessity, mother of invention & all that, you'd be surprised how creative you can be when you're hungry, hunting is just a skill that 99.99 ad infinitum need to relearn, because of the nature of my employment I spend 80% of my awake time in the dark, so I have night & peripheral vision that is far superior to the average person's & post SHTF so will the survivors (in time) since artificial city lighting makes your eyes lazy. oh & if you do happen to find a well stocked pet shop with rabbits, grab some Ferrets (Weasels/Polecats) too, they make hunting rabbits child's play. after your rabbit population has established itself in the park/nature reserve you've picked for them, locate all the warren/burrow entrances, place cages over them, loose a ferret down one of the holes & watch & be amazed as your cages fill with rabbits for the table 0 Likes, 0 Add to Bug Hunter, 0 Grammar, 0 WAPoints 0 0 0 0
T3ech, I understand the confusion, but that remark was tied to the past 2 months of "advertising" on the forum done by TOWTM about how our plans would fail. Nullifier: pet shops and zoos are light in my area. There's the Bronx zoo, but that is way way too far to be helpful. Roads in New York are choked up on a good day, with abandoned cars, it would be almost impossible to navigate. There are pet supply shops near me but not many/any that sell animals. And ultimately, small game will work, but I have never seen a deer or something large like that in the area. you're right, doesn't mean they aren't there....does however make it harder to hunt what you can't see. 0 Likes, 0 Add to Bug Hunter, 0 Grammar, 0 WAPoints 0 0 0 0
Nikvoodoo- NYC-Queens-There are raccoons, squirrels, birds, cockroaches, and rats. That's really about it in this general area. So because there's a near by water source, but nothing else in terms of sustainability in the vicinity. C- I think the grading was probably a little harsh, although I'm not privy to the grading system you guys are using & definitely not familiar with NYC & Queens, may I make a suggestion, look for Pet Stores, petting Zoos & Zoos (if any of the latter 2), Rabbits are a very familiar pet found in Pet Stores here (there?) with rabbits, geese, sheep, goats & deer from the Petting Zoos & Zoos. Also just because you can't see them, doesn't mean they aren't there, in my town, rabbits infest the local golf courses, parks less so, because to a rabbit it's a real safe haven from predators, unless your local council has adopted a culling program to remove them, normally you won't ever see them, you have to go prowl....err I mean walk around the golf courses at night If I were in Queens & the only fauna I could obtain was a dozen rabbits from the local Pet stores, I'd build a hutch for half & let the rest go in the parks/nature reserves, they won't go far from their food & water source & will breed up very quickly. 0 Likes, 0 Add to Bug Hunter, 0 Grammar, 0 WAPoints 0 0 0 0

The reason we grade on population is to determine the volume of zombies you are likely to encounter. The higher the population, the lower the score you receive because you're more likely to encounter mass quantities of zombies. I assumed you were using these because well, the blog starts off with you talking about TOWTM's behavior. He is of course in the WA universe, making me assume that you were basing all of the evaluations on WA zombie types. 0 Likes, 0 Add to Bug Hunter, 0 Grammar, 0 WAPoints 0 0 0 0

Good work guys! One thing you could add in (but you don't have to cause this is awesome) is weapons availability, especially with overseas ones. 0 Likes, 0 Add to Bug Hunter, 0 Grammar, 0 WAPoints 0 0 0 0

Lol. If only I knew. You should check out Yarri's blogs and Osiris' blogs for those. I believe they have talked about the zombies a lot in the past. Or send an email to Britt with these questions, they may talk about it on WND, and then I'll be talking about it here. Because that is a very interesting subject to talk upon, and I have a few ideas on it that I would be willing to share, if the opportunity showed itself. 0 Likes, 0 Add to Bug Hunter, 0 Grammar, 0 WAPoints 0 0 0 0
Creem my friend! I has finally located your blog. Navigating the webernet without a guide is a good way to get lost and typing in Creme Filling into a google search is a great way to find Twinkies but not so much for finding a fellow comrade's blog. Solid review and analysis but I have a few questions that I need clarified on the zombies. Are they really dead (as in no pulse) or living shells? Actual dead implies that they may not need to feed (your dead you need no sustinence!) And if they are living shells could these creatures reproduce? One massive generation of creatures will eventually starve or die off. Run of the mill Biters will die via Darwinism eventually which will leave only the smart ones and unless you run into a dense smart people population (i.e. not Hollywood) then you should'nt have an issue. Just a few speculations on the specifics on the nature of these creatures. 0 Likes, 0 Add to Bug Hunter, 0 Grammar, 0 WAPoints 0 0 0 0
I do have the potential to blow my Season 2 winning record in one blog, but I don't much care about that. And if I don't blow it, I'll make the playoffs and set myself up for a great run at the championship... ....the....Predicting We're Alive Championship....more prestigious than the Stanley Cup....or something.... 0 Likes, 0 Add to Bug Hunter, 0 Grammar, 0 WAPoints 0 0 0 0
A fantastic read, as always. I'll want to chew on these some more but I think your success / failure rate is about to sky rocket, maybe because you are borrowing so many ideas from other people? 0 Likes, 0 Add to Bug Hunter, 0 Grammar, 0 WAPoints 0 0 0 0
Well my point was that they had never actually seen them do anything. Yes, we saw that someone had moved the car at some point, but that was assumed to be mister "Paul" who was watching them creepily from the rooftop. Here they actually saw a horde of biters use an elevator. They pressed the correct button and got there w/o one the brainy zombies there to assist them. I understand there thought, I just think this evidence of a deeper intelligence to the zombies we haven't seen yet. 0 Likes, 0 Add to Bug Hunter, 0 Grammar, 0 WAPoints 0 0 0 0
That was the reason I held out until this week to release the blog post. It's been done since last Tuesday, with minor tweaks here and there. I wanted people to get all jazzercised for this Saturday! Sorry for the misunderstanding, Gd. I actually didn't even think Randy would be discussed for the reasons I brought up in the prediction. I think you were the only one who brought up that Randy would be explored, hence why I gave you the credit for the prediction. I absolve you from credit for the prediction, unless it breaks in your favor 0 Likes, 0 Add to Bug Hunter, 0 Grammar, 0 WAPoints 0 0 0 0
When I said that I thought the situation with Randy would be revealed, I was actually guessing that was something you were going to have thought of, and I don't think it will happen. Unless it turns out to be correct, and then I take full credit... Originally Posted by Pegsocalypse Now Great blog, Nikvoodoo! Makes the wait a little easier...
