Perhaps you should make a parody "We're Dead" that tells the story from the point of view of a zombie(s).
John: "Hey Bob"
Bob: "Oh hey John, how's the wife and kids?"
John: "I ate them."
Bob: "Oh...well those damn Tower people killed Steven"
John: "Damn them, we should take revenge by sending the Colored One in to infiltrate their base"
Bob: "Yeah, that's a good idea"
Colored One: "I'm Paul"
John: "Hey Bob"
Bob: "Oh hey John, how's the wife and kids?"
