Ellie Goulding is pretty hot.... except for the teeth. Those could use some work. Also, I do love me some dubstep.

I love some very specific dubstep tracks, like Sierra Leone by Mt. Eden Dubstep (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kRWsE9QZN8). He has some other songs that are great, too.
Though dubstep in general... I think I'll pass. I prefer songs with more variation and melody when I'm at home. Then again, when I'm going out it can be nice.

I've heard a few songs that I like but I can't handle most of it. Too many tempo changes. Not enough fluidity for me. Especially listing live in the club. It seems to ruin a vibe. Just my opinion.

Also guys search "Eyes dubstep" on youtube, they do some pretty awesome stuff with some well known songs.

Not bad.
When I feel like "popular" music or more well known music I usually go for some mashups like:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JBAxkZun3s

What is it with this fixation on Dubstep!? There is so much more to Electronica than Dubstep. I just don't understand what the current trend of being obsessed with this now VERY mainstream genre of music that has very little (if any) real differentiation between artists and the music they make.

dubstep thread so posts are going to be dubstep centered. i still listen to trance and the other genres as well. one of my favorite podcasts is Trance Around the World.

I wasn't specifically talking about this thread. I'm talking about this whole trend. It just pisses me off because (and I may be entirely wrong about this) I feel like other genres of Electronica are being completely neglected because people think listening to Dubstep makes you cool. And don't even get me started on the people who think that listening to Dubstep makes them different/original...
