MP3 files protected?

I downloaded some of the first season to have a listen. Now, about a week later, none of them will play for me. Are the mp3 files somehow protected to only play once, or only for a certain amount of time?

Depending on what platform you're using they could have deleted themselves. iOS does this as a default I believe. If you aren't on wifi your device may not stream it over data. As a rule, mp3s don't have restrictions like that. There shouldn't be anything preventing the files from playing as long as it's saved to your device.

I'm listening to We're Alive (not Lockdown).
Thanks for the replies. I was able to figure out what was happening. The Artwork in the ID3 tag was causing an issue with WMP and Groove music. Removing the artwork from the tags fixed my issues. Never had any similar issues, but a friend pointed it out to me.
