Cool! Do we have an approximate release date?

End of October is the target, but we remain flexible on it only because there's a long way to go in the production. We can't move forward with some things without funding, and even running the kickstarter is a huge task in terms of time and effort.

Ok, guys and gals... 12 hours into the campaign and it stands at round-about 36% right now. The other 64% might not be a problem, you may think. But I suggest spreading the word as much as possible. The first 30% were achieved within 3 hours only. The other 6-7% required 9 hours to be collected This shows, I guess, two things:
a) the US time-zone for bed-time as a natural brake, and especially b) supposedly save assumption: many to most "serious" WA fans may have backed the campaign already (330 backers at the time of this posting). And keep in mind: three of the few big fishes (LIFE SENTENCE WITHOUT PAROLE!) have been pledged as well; so 327 guys and gals have backed for an amount of roughly 15 grands ...

Just sayin': WE NEED MORE BACKERS!

Best wishes!
Liam

We're looking at another option for voice-mails since those got snagged up so quickly. Another scarred character might join the mix... maybe even a tier WITH the old man~ ;) Watch the facebook feed closely as they will be limited.

We're going to continue to offer new perks, and we could gain more attention if we get a "staff pick".

Also, just as an added thing, we were interviewed here before the KS began: http://www.podcastgarden.com/episode/episode-43-were-still-alive_49106

Since my last posting: 86 additional backers and thus +4 % ... If the WA fans and WA newcomer-fans keep up this pace we'll do it in roughly 2 1/2 weeks from now ... So, keep it spinning, and especially: Spread the word!

I'm in for $60 so far, but I'm a little worried that the WA community has already done its thing the first day - and I'm not sure how much this kind of project will grab people who are unfamiliar with WA that are just browsing around Kickstarter, or see this shared on facebook. We should all keep an eye on it and push in a little more if we can.

Certainly the WA-addicts have jumped into the frail during the first couple of hours. Now it is up to us to spread the word and reactivate the non-addict WA fans as well as to find new audio-drama listeners to back this campaign. I start worrying, when things stall around 70% after 3 weeks ...

Edit: Two days into the campaign, and we are already at 44% success. But truth be told: the last 5% are widely spread over the last like 40 hours of the campaign. Keep spreading the word and support the campaign! I want to see "Lockdown" get real.

I didn't get a chance to do it the first day since I'm temporarily away from the States. But I did manage to drop a Benjamin to the cause (and it helped that KC offered an autographed copy of the script).

And this link allows you to track the process of this campaign. As you can see - from Wednesday until today the campaign is growing steadily, but slowly.

So let's keep talking about it and spreading the word. If we keep up this pace we might be able to get "Lockdown" into production - but at the current speed, which is not the speed of light (sadly), this won't be any sooner than just a couple of days before the campaign ends. And this is only true, if people support this at a ratio of 3% per day. If this score drops, I wouldn't be so certain anymore ...

Cheers, best wishes!

Might be a dumb question (I'm new to Kickstarter) but if we wanted to donate $30 but they're all sold out are we SOL? I'm guessing the options are either go up to $35 or down to $20 but just wanted to double check.

Pretty much, or at least that's what I would think.

You can donate any amount you want, but you're only entitled to a reward at or below the amount you donated. For example, if you donated $30, you could chose the $20 reward. A lot of times on kickstarter backers will throw in an extra buck or two past the reward they're getting if they really want to help. Obviously some people have done that here since the total amount raised ends in a 7 at the moment.

Wonder what happens if we, by chance, didn't make the goal...

I believe if the goal isn't met then nothing happens. They would have the option to re-run the Kickstarter at a different goal amount, etc, etc.....

Traditionally Kickstarters tend to Explode right out the gate, then there is a lull in the middle, and then they boom again near the end once people see that it will meet the goal or be funded.

Hi there,

currently I start getting nervous. After the incredible kickstart on the first day the campaign has achieved like 21% in nearly two weeks times. With two more weeks down the road I wonder if the next necessary 39% are going to be made ...

So I - again - ask you not (only) to back the campaign, but also to become "rampagingly viral" - so keep talking about it and spreading the word - or in terms of WA: spread the virus, and infect the people ... !

Best wishes!
Liam

Or maybe Gmail.com just shows them in a weird way O.O

Hello everyone!

Unless something unexpected happens, "#WALockdown"'s gonna get real. During the last couple of hours there has been a giant leap in fundings - and more than enough to get things real. Still 19 hours to go - let's see where this is gonna end ...

Hello.

I am sooo happy. "Lockdown"'s gonna get real; and during the last like two days the campaign went a lot better than what I expected like 10 days ago. Lockdown has proven that the WA fandom is a huge zombie-agent infested family, whose members stick together in "times of dire need". Looking into the future (but not wanting to put pressure on Kc, crew and cast) I see more Tales from WA getting real. Time will tell. But for now I look forward to listening to "Lockdown" some time in Q4.

Congrats to the WA crew. I haven't backed much stuff on Kickstarter - really just things from friends of friends, but I love that I had the opportunity to back this project. We're Alive gave me a ridiculous amount of entertainment, and all I gave back before this was a T-shirt purchase and and my presence at the finale show.
