I was going through the shelves in my basement and I stumbled upon this old book of drawings. I mean, of course I knew it was there...but out of sight, out of mind right? well, I completely forgot how good some of this old stuff is/was. its sad that some of these have seen better days. most of it was from a time when I didn't fully understand how to properly treat pencil drawings, thus a lot of them are smudged terribly. I did go ahead and get some pics of the better condition ones. its difficult to capture some of the finer details in these. but the overall image is still there.

as I said, these are old. if im thinking correctly, about eleven years old. I think it shows a good gauge of how styles can change over the years yet some things remain a constant. (I solely base this on my own style changes, but yea)

just figured id share!

Awesome! My favorite is the one with what I think of is three life size tarot cards. Who knows what Fate brings us. Door number one, two or three. Unfortunately, the only Monty Hall I have ever found to give me a second chance is Lucifer and that is a price I, nor Datu, is willing to pay

heh, wait til you see them in real life! im planning out a new ent. center/shelving unit for my living room, and I was searching through some old notes. i thought I had designed it before but never did anything with the idea, but instead I cracked this big ol' book. I think that will be a good reason to build the shelves. i'll actually have someplace to keep these old notes within easy reach. Ive found about two dozen old sketchpads/notebooks/scratchpads full of forgotten ideas. such fun looking through the ideas you forgot you ever had, fun and inspiring!

I'll have a flick through them in July, and see if I can dig out any of my old sketches. I tend to doodle a lot in page margins etc when I get bored

Try taking a picture of a decade old pencil drawing. with its graphite rubbed all over, picking up every hint of light, its hard not to get a blurry image.

also, bite me osi.

ps- I still love you
