I just KNOW that someone brought this up already but I noticed an interesting difference between the L.A. Zombies and the others.
Saul and CJ left the dead zombie near the police station outside for the 'zombie clean-up crew', to which Victor responds that there are none in the Colony's area. This seems note worthy because it adds evidence that the L.A. zombies are under the control of something/someone not present anywhere else. This would seem that the other zombies might not have a nest or hive. This might also be evidence that live humans and bodies are gathered for some diabolical purpose in L.A. Not only are there special zombies but their behavior is different too. Yeah Yeah, I know Big surprise, as if we haven't hashed this out a million times already.

But hey, what are the other differences between the L.A.Z. and the others that we can tell? We might be able to create a profile of TOWTM's influence.

As Napoleon said an army marches on it's stomach. I think that keeping the infected fed curbs some of their feral instincts, making them easier for TOWTM to control. This would also explain why the ones Kalani saw in Hawaii were more brutal, since they were running completely on their urge to feed/propagate.

Awesome point! Especially the one about Kalani's 'meaner, nastier' zombies from Hawaii. I could never tell if that comment was a clue or if Kalani was just trying to one-up the Californians.

I dont remember if it was skittles or who it was but they have also said that the big zombies also eat some of the little ones, also I believe and you can correct me But I thought that angel and kalani went back to the army base and skittles told them that they eat some of the food as well and I think it was saul and Angel that saw them eat can foods in one of the stores they went to? so my question is could they just want humans to turn or eat, becasue Datu turned his face when Hope's mom was bieng eaten, buth it dosnt say for sure if she was. and this is all the L.A.Z that we have heard they can eat food.

I've actually been waiting to hear someone in the background say, "Holy shit . . . is that zombie Karen Allen? Jesus. I think it--no wait, that's just normal Karen Allen."

L.A. zombies are different from the rest of the world's zombies because they're made up of actors, directors, producers, and grips. I think the slow moving ones are teamsters, and I'm pretty sure the fast moving ones are from a rehab clinic in Malibu (oxy is a helluva drug).
