Hello there,

is there a reason why it is possible for a forum-member to edit her/his postings only once?

Best wishes
Liam

you allow the capability mod/forum:editanypost for the student role this would result in students being able to edit other students' posts as well as their own. You can set the maximum editing time in Administration > Security > Site policies to a very long time. Alternatively, you may wish to consider using a glossary or database activity as these both allow unlimited editing and attachments.

This is for security reasons or for spam protection as well. As my concern, it is a good way to fight against spammers. however you can edit your post after approval from the adminstrator

I wanted to say the security level must be appropriate in order to fight against spam. So its good way to protect the community.
