Who scared the Zeds away from the Prius?

Was it Scratch and Latch? Or the Ink or one of his guys call them away? Did it have something to do with Saul's immunities?

Hi there,

alcohol. It was the alcohol whiskey/ whisky Saul had with him. When he fled into the car, he crushed into his stash of whiskey/y-bottles he had collected from home; some bottles crashed, and the smell of whisky was so overwhelming that the zombies lost track of him. They did not recognize Saul anymore, so they left.
edit: But that does not necessarily mean that this scene is an appeal against alcohol at all ... /edit

But it is a funny idea to consider Scratch as the ultimate Zombie-repellent ...
