Is Dead Island Riptide good?

Dead Island Riptide is fun in co-op mode. With friends, playing online, it can be a blast. In fact, me and a friend were laughing a lot during our time playing. Solo, I've found the game to be a bit boring. If you get it, or play it, do it with some friends.
