What recording devices (edit: that actually recorded, not monitored or anything else) have been used by WA characters, by whom, and under what circumstances (what was going on)?

Okay, this is what I was looking for:
-Lizzies use of the TIVO which had recorded a news broadcast. Her replaying it gave us the first info about Ink and some info on the spread of the desease,
-Lizzie with the tape recorder, an audio recording of her experiences outside the tower whiah Saul later finds and gives hope that Lizzie may still be alive;
-CJ's video recording of life within her own tower. Records someone that both CJ and Saul know...Ink;
-Tardust/Bricks use of the camcorder at the medical facility. Duria wanted Angels interogation about weapons, etc to be recorded. Later used to implicate Scratch and leads to Durias death;
-Victor/Saul use of the photo camera in the hotzone. Photographs the ground cracks.

EDIT: I forgot this one...Riley recording Tanya performing the autopsy of #2 while at Fort Irwin.
and I forgot about Lizzies recording of the sweat experiment.

As I was looking for the obvious ones first, anything else like the journals I considered kind of a bonus if you thought of, but things like cameras used to monitor did not count as they were not recording.

The raven is a poem about a man who greatly misses his lost love and speaks to a thing that won't truly respond (like a certain desert eagle) as a means of reaching out to her. Seems like a perfect description of Burt though I doubt Burt himself would state that as his reason.
Lets also note the ancient folklore associations in multiple cultures with the raven as the wily trickster. Seems like Burt to me.

The weapon discipline that the military instills in you. The Marine Corps Rifleman's Creed (http://www.usmcpress.com/heritage/marine_corps_rifleman%27s_creed.htm) isn't just for Marines, many soldiers take it that seriously too. Not saying that Angel was that hardcore but "My Rifle" is still a very personal thing.

So personal that even in video games, I had a hard time of it, dropping my rifle and picking up another weapon with more ammo. Wasn't even consciously doing it either. Until I started getting owned and realized what I was doing.

There is also the factor of zeroing the weapon. All the other rifles were either Mechanical Zeroed or zeroed to someone else. Sure, in theory, you can take your zero numbers and apply them to a new weapon, but it doesn't always work that way. My own zero has varied over time from rifle to rifle. Especially when I switched from shooting right to left handed. (6 Up & Center)

To properly zero a new/different rifle, or your own after significant repairs, you have to go to a known distance range with zero targets. There was plenty of time for this once the tower was secured, but initially, not so much.

I said seven instead of all because I had a funny feeling I might get shown up and then names might start coming out of the woodwork. Either way, let me roll this one up for some clarification.

Named residents of the tower on my list:

Datu - KING Datu the resourceful, AKA R2DATU
Cindy - Angel's girlfriend, found turned and shot in her apartment on the third floor.
Bill Norris - Owner of the building, killed during the Maller attack on the Tower.
Mr. Abernathy - Cross-dresser and resident of apt. 4C, apparently absent on Zday.
Gina - Cat owner and resident of apt 2G, apparently absent on Zday.
Mr. Whiskers - Gina's cat. AKA Zombie Kitty, Edward Scissor-Kitty. Survived the Tower collapse and getting fat on rats. Yes I'm counting the cat. I like cats.:D Besides, the cat got two nicknames in the show.

Yup, you got it. I though it was "Lard" at first, then after rechecking it sounded like Larth. It seemed to me that Mr Larth was not just on the same floor as Cindy, but he was brought down right outside her door.
