Okay my computer is now at a functioning level again, thank you all.

I've been spending a lot of my time in my garage working on homework for college and making things, but it'sstarting to get cold here in Yakima. I know not to leave my electronics in freezing tempetures, but how about using them? I survive out here with extra layers and a heat dish electric heater.

My computer already has enough problems that it makes me worry if it had a problem out here I wouldn't notice.

And i perfer asking here because I trust (most of you) more then the general internet.

Your main worry should be moisture in the air..assuming the garage stays slightly above freezing...moisture in the air could cause condensation which of course = bad news. For the most part electronics prefer running in cooler climates....of course not that damn cold though. :)

Put packets of silica gel inside your computer.
