I just got a new phone. Nokia Lumnia 900 and it uses Windows and Zune. Problem is I have everything on Itunes so I am in the process of moving everything to the Zune program.
Only problem is that none of my videos from my old phone are being reconized by the Zune software. All of my videos are in .wmn or .3gp. I go into zune and make the folder the videos are in the one I want to sync onto zune but nothing appears.
Any help?

I think Zune only recognizes avi wmv and mp4 video files. Just have to convert them and they should show up.

I tried that with a few to .wmv and still nothing

Outside of that, only thing I can think of is to make a new folder and add that to the list that Zune searches for videos. Maybe make sure it's updated.

Yup. Do that..and try the mp4 format...i believe the majority of my vids are mp4. I've never tried the iTunes to Zune conversion though.

Found it out. In the settings for some reason every video format was "unclicked" meaning it wouldn't read them. Just had to click to boxes and it was fixed

woo-hoo! Now wait to see what happens when Zune switches to Xbox Music. I'm waiting for it to crash my zune player myself, but we'll see. Btw, I had a similar problem like yours, but with a different video service. I think service is the right word. Couldn't get it to recognize some of the music videos of european techno/rave/weirdness for a while...

Nice job on the Lumia 900 :) I want one, but my contract won't be up for an upgrade until end of this year, so I'm going to wait for a Nokia WP8 phone. I have a Samsung Focus S and while I like it, I'm tired of it looking like every other Android Samsung phone. I want something unique like the Lumia 900.

That's why I got it. Everyone I know either has a droid or Iphone. This phone is sweet so far. It has everything other phones have but it's look and way it works is very unique

Yea dude...i went from iPhone to wp7 (HTC titan) and could not be happier...everything about this is just feels natural...but, since its not an iPhone or android...nobody gives em a seconds thought.

I've got an HTC HD7 myself, and I love it. I'd switch to a Lumia when my contract is up, but then the Windows Phone 8 will be out. *drool* The SDK/emulator that just appeared has some awesome features, and takes care of any minor gripes I have (like native screenshots). Hope you enjoy the phone!
