View Full Version : Contingency Plan v.End Of We're Alive
Osiris

As the end of We're Alive's run looms on the horizon, I'm curious to know what our contingency plans are.
Will the boards remain active?
Will Kc shut the whole enchallada down in favour of not having to spend countless (and thankless) hours tweaking, fixing, and monitoring this place?
Will we all find a new home in this next project's forum?
Will there even be another board?
Do we all just wander into the sunset, never to be seen or heard from again?
I for one, will be returning to ordinary life, relisten to the occasional Scratch or Kalani episodes, as well as other favourites, such as the escapades of Angel and Kalani. What about yous guys? It's time we started thinking about the future. :hsugh:

i'll prolly still be around the forums. i like this place, and i think that the decorations will change and this will just roll over into the next wayland production. b-sides, where else will i find people willing to subject themselves to my writings as i write the first story that i think will actually make it to completion?

I've wondered that.. How long is We're Alive planned to run? Maybe there will be an encore. :)

I'll still be here. Even if its only for the occasional heated debate with reaper. I'm attached to the place. It would be nice to think it would be kept alive even as a museum and showcase of the community Kc is capable of building around his productions. It might be nice for it to be carried on for the next production I guess, I'm attached to my profile and the accolades everybody earns for them.

Kc is going to have a huge bash at his place, with a wild night of debauchery for each chapter of the series, finally ending when Nikvoodoo brings some C4 as an homage to Burt and we're all blown up in a huge, incendiary fireball.
Or, we'll just get bored and go back to sharing fart jokes on Facebook.

The place will remain open as there will most likely be other ventures in We're Alive and other stories and this place will remain the hub

Wow. To think the end is coming. I've been away for awhile and to come back to talk of the end threw me for a loop. It has been a great forum. I hope for more KC and We're Alive in the future.

Also, the reason I come here, it's the only forum I visit. Not a big social media guy, but this has been a great time.

Relistening to the show is the deal, I guess.
And actually I would like to consider the WA-universe as a perfect scenery for an pen& paper RPG sourcebook. The world is rich, the cast and characters are brilliant, the "theme" and "theories" behind WA are dense and inspiring ... So you could have the chance to experience this world from a different angle by getting involved.
Thank you at Kc that the forums will be up for some more time ...
All the best!

Given the story, we have become attached to these characters. I could continue to listen to this zombies or not. This tale has grown beyond surviving the zombies. For the longest time it's been about surviving the humans. Which goes to show us that no matter the tragic event, we will eventually go back to fighting one another. We are our own worst enemies.

I'll probably be on here, as after I have listened back for the 2387376435th time, I may discover something that needs clairifying and have to ask KC. Or something like that.
