The last book in Z.A. Recht's trilogy released today. I actually just picked up the first two books last week and am finishing the 2nd in the series, Thunder and Ashes. After Recht's untimely death a ghost writer picked up where Recht left off, so I am interested to see if it lives up to his first two novels. Just thought some of you put there might like to know its now available on Amazon.

I just had the Morningstar books recommended to me today. How were the first two?

I've finished the first and I am about half way through the second one. I really like them. Well written and the development of the characters and plot line have been really good so far. I'm a little worried about the third one seeing how it was written by a ghost writer at the family's request. I guess Recht died suddenly a few years back, he was only 26, (I think) and they never said what he died from. I don't know how much original material the ghost writer was given or how far along Recht even was in the writing process. I'm going to be angry if it doesn't live up to the first two books because so far I've really enjoyed them. If you like Dilouie (I believe I've talked to you about his books on a different thread) then you should find the Morningstar books a good read. They aren't as tactics heavy as Dilouie but the over-all writing is much better IMO. Definitely worth the time to read them.

Thanks! I'll try volumes one and two out, and wait to hear what you think of three.

Got my hands on a copy of Survivors and I'm about two thirds of the way though it already. The ghost writer has done a pretty good job on it, not quite the same quality as Recht himself but still good. Definitely worth the read if you ended up enjoying the first two Cabbage Patch. I will say this guy/girl doesn't have the same military experience as Recht and it shows, that's the only issue I've found so far.

The ending was a bit expedited quickly probably because the script was finished by the author's friend after his death but I think a few more pages could have rounded things better.

I think that every person has encountered writing an essay while studying at the university, and not everyone can easily cope with this task. If you don't want to waste time and energy on writing an essay, I can recommend Chromatopia.org (https://chromatopia.org/) which has reviews of different essay writing services. Personally, I often use the services of such specialists.
