yeah, this is just like the TSA thing, they want to know where you are and what you're doing. sure, it starts off with criminals, but it ends with them confiscating firearms, by force, house to house. people think i'm paranoid, but all you have to do is pay attention and the crap they're doing will freak you out. btw, "they" is the authorities, government, etc.

just because it comes from a major media outlet, doesn't make the information any less credible. in fact, the fact that a major media outlet took notice and reports the same thing as indy news sources makes it all the more credible.

It's not so much that it's a major media source so much as it is from Fox News. I usually really on CNN and BBC. Fox is far too Conservative for my blood. Not that I disagree with your point (the confiscation of firearms in 2005 was way fucked up), but I just can't handle Fox so I just lost interest in this topic is all.
