Please take a moment to remember what happened 10 years ago tomorrow. In the face of adversity and death. We the people of the United States of America stood up together as one people as one nation.

From the heroes in the North and South towers during the attack. To the heroes in the air that refused to a man and woman to be used as a weapon on their own people. To the heroes after the attack that worked with unflagging effort to find any of the survivors at ground zero. To the heroes still fighting in the Middle East. Tomorrow should be a celebration of life and the unbreakable American Spirit.

I don't pretend to speak representing Britain, but, for my own part, I regarded this attack on the US as an attack the UK. It broke my heart to watch this all unfold ten years ago.
To see the incredible bravery and self sacrifice of the New York emergency services remains a humbling experience.
It still sickens me to the core that people in the Middle East celebrated the deaths of the innocent the way that many did.
I can't pretend that I had any noble thoughts of wanting to see measured justice. I wanted blood.
We may bicker about trade, economics or pollution, but this felt as though someone had attacked a family member, and family should always put differences aside and stick together when threatened.

Casey Jones.... You are a class act. I felt the same way on July 7th 2005.
