When Tommy and Kelly arrive at the tower, they, after a little argument decide to share a rooms.

However, It appears by Chapter 11 that Kelly moves out of the room as she is searching the room, something that would be impossible as Kelly states that people aren't allowed to search their own rooms.

When did Kelly move out? Have I missed something?

Kelly was searching Riley, Lizzie's and Pegs room. Burt was searching Kelly and Tommy's room because was shouting about finding stuff. Also Michael told Saul and Lizzie they could search her room back or again as vengeance

I would presume that, if that were the case, Kelly would be aware of the supplies in the room, and not have turned so quickly against her nephew?

They decided to share an apartment. Not rooms. Tommy would have had the things he was stockpiling in his room, not in the common areas of the apartment. Meaning Burt found Tommy's stuff in his bedroom. Kelly, being in the second bedroom of the same apartment, wouldn't necessarily know what tommy has in his room.

Darn you and your logic.
