ALL Toonami shows were awesome. i was thinking, "wtf, that didn't seem too long ago". i was in middle school when Toonami came up :P back when the host was the Dude from Space Ghost.

and yeah, Heathcliff is all kinds of epic.

Gargoyles was great... that was another one some of us would watch in our room. I liked how the gargoyles got their names.

The HERCULOIDS!!!

One thing you'll notice is the cartoons from the 60's and 70's are all "manly" cartoons. action oriented. Once the 80's hit, it got all touchy feely. All the heroes had to have a wack character like Snarff to soften the "violence"

Oh i was raised on that stuff. i love it. along with danger mouse, joe 90, bill and ben, trumpton and magic roundabout. give me those any day over this modern rubbish. lol i sound like i'm 40 and i'm only 19.

Absolutely loved Danger Mouse. And that spin-off with the vampire duck... uh, hold on a sec, Duckula. Yes, I had to "bing" his name.

I'll toss one out that is probably pretty obscure. I watched in on a Canadian channel. So, I od not know if it was ever in the US

Ok, since Rocket Robin Hood went over well. Here is another one: Ultraman

It was out of Tokyo, but I saw in syndication on canadian TV in the late 60's very early 70's. I guess it was my generation of the power rangers. Some guy presses his necklace or something and turns into a "godzilla" size monsters. They fight, Ultraman has a little light on his chest that gets dimmer as he fights, monster neutralized. Have not even seen or heard anything about it in 40+ years.
