Well before a written language the tactical advantages of defense from a prepared fighting position with a height advantage is well known. In the most recent episode we heard some very clear stair noises. Metal stairs.
I would cut or burn through these for a flight or two. Stairs will be replaced with an exstention ladder on a counter weight. In an emergency the ladder can be collapsed and raised. The landing could also be transformed to a hatch and closed for additional protection.
Perfect? No. But it is something we can do to improve our fighting position. Do not worry about it Michael you have been doing this for a few months. I have been doing this for decades
