Well hey there! I'm Hunter! I'm from Amarillo Texas and have been writing zombie short stories and fiction since I was ten. (It has improved don't worry.) I am a huge fan of the Last of Us much like pretty much every Playstation player on the planet! I started listening to We're Alive about a year ago so it was already finished. A friend of mine was looking for something to hold him over until Walking Dead started up again! He told me about it and I fell in love with it! Needless to say I binge listened. I am also a college student currently studying Broadcast Journalism. Hopefully that takes off lol! Check out my series that I am starting on the fan-fiction forum also! (not trying to advertise. I hate when people do that lol). (PS I'm super late on the forums I can see lol)

Hey you guys! My name is Tulip, I'm from a small town in North Carolina. I'm an avid podcast listener and was looking for a new podcast to listen to during my free time. I stumbled on We're Alive and was hooked ever since. I listened to all 4 seasons in like 3 weeks. Once I finished it, I found Lockdown and loved it also. Now I am re-listening to them to hear things I've missed. I've also caught every livestream on youtube.

It is great to have another Fan onboard. Nice to meet you Tulip.

Hey guys! I go by the name of Rav online or ShadowRav in gaming and I'm from Singapore. We're Alive is actually my first story podcast! I wanted to take a break from reading books so I went online searching for some good zombie related podcasts earlier this year and this podcast appeared first in the page so I downloaded the app from Google Playstore (it was removed already) and listen to the first episode and I'm hooked to it!

I love to write but never had the confidence to upload it on websites. I love to read story from books since it has more of a feel to it while listening songs to some of my favorite artists/groups such as Skillet, Avril Lavigne, Scandal, Wagakki Band, Lindsey Stirling and 2NE1. I'm quite a gamer since I was five, Resident Evil 3 is my first horror game when it was released in 1999 (and they say girls don't play video games), I love the Resident Evil series, the old one before 4 anyways.

I really like horror genre though I don't get scared easily xP

I was so hooked to this podcast that I didn't realize my teacher came in to the lab and started teaching until one episode ended XP

If only I found this podcast earlier :/

Still listening to this podcast though~

Currently playing The Evil Within after getting in during summer sales on steam.

Hey! I'm Chloe, I binged We're Alive in a four-day emotional roller-coaster and I'm going to listen to it all again because it's amazing!
I love zombie books, films and tv shows, but We're Alive is definitely my absolute favourite out of all of the, and one of my favourite 'fandoms' too! :)
Lockdown is next on my list ;)

Hello Chloe. I'm not surprised that you enjoyed We're Alive. Lockdown is going to increase your love of the show.

I'm in Rock Hill, SC and was happy to see another southerner listens to podcasts. I don't understand why more people don't down here. I keep telling them they don't know what they are missing. When I finished We're Alive I was so sad it was over. I just started lockdown. I don't know what I'll do when it's over. I listen to serial, science vs, this I believe, and stuff like that, but I really love how we're alive feels like you are right there with them. I love near a graveyard and I'd often listen to it in the evening when I'm walking my dog by the graveyard just to really get the feel of the show. I know, I'm a dork, but a fun one.

Hello. I'm Pat from Mishawaka Indiana. Started listening to WE not long after it launched. Then my Zune broke and for a while I was downloading the episodes and burning them to cd. Finally after 5 years, I've finished the series thanks to Google Play.
So about me, I'm a husband, dad, army veteran and a stand up comic and also a huge zombie fanatic. Not so much for the gore, but the human element, how the survivors react to everything changing, how they're true personalities shine through.

I'm a database programmer for a small midwestern Jesuit college. Closer to Bert's age than any of the other characters. Been reading Walking Dead since near the beginning. I found WA after getting hooked on Z Nation on Syfy and going on a zombie fiction binge. Random Google search, over to Itunes looking for Zombie related podcasts, and there was We're Alive. I gave it a try and loved it from ep 1. WA is my current lawn mowing soundtrack, or any other home chore. Once I'm through all four seasons, I still have Lockdown. I am very impressed with what Wayland is doing.

Hello I'm Ville Anselmo, turning 20 this coming February. From Philippines. My story of how I knew the We're Alive is when my brother introduced me to this application called podcast and he told me that it was awesome and if I ever need to rest my eyes from using it too much because hey, that's our new generation with all those technologies and gadgets (my bad, I'm one of them since I'm a College student of Computer Studies). Sooo, back to topic. I was looking for some awesome stories or anything to listen and since I'm always a fan of any stories that consists of 'survival' and 'zombies', I came across with We're Alive. At first, I didn't know if it is gonna be that typical zombie but I was wrong. The more I listened to it, the more I learned that it was different. I love how Kc Wayland made it so real like you were actually living in it. I love how the story flows unexpectedly. How Kc made all the death so emotional even if the character wasn't too long to make a bond with them. How the characters starts from zero to hero. How he made all the characters with flaws, not perfectly and as the story goes they all changed into something different, stronger, tough and I love the bond with all the characters. I like this story, it is so different from any zombie-survival stories and this actually defines the word survival and I love Saul. *laughs* He is really badass!

Hey how's it going guys, I was introduced to we're alive through a Fallout 4 mod that imported the first season. I always loved how fallout would have these ten to five minute audio dramas on the radio station in the game so when looking for mods I came across we're alive which opened me up to a whole new world of audio drama.

Hey guys! I'm late I know! I'm Rochelle. My username tells so much about how I use the name on several games i've played. Yes I'm a gamer and most people like me love Zombies. I watch, listen, play, and kill Zombies. I'm a George Romero fan. One of the reasons i'm here too. I'm a frustrated architect, a computer tech, and a 3D and 2D animator. I know! 😥 I'm so useless during the apocalypse but fret not survivors I play airsoft and I can shoot. I'm an okay sniper and I know a few squad and firing tactics. Yes and it's more fun in the Philippines! I live here. I found Were alive myself on Podcast. We're alive is the first radio drama series I've ever heard from Podcast that got me really hooked. I've listened to two other dramas but your podcast was the BOMB. The reason I downloaded Podcast was to improve my voice acting. Really and I love how the voiceactors brought their characters to life. How they make you love and hate their characters is perfect. I love Everything about this series. Everything is so dynamic and always on the edge. I'm just so damned happy that I found We're alive. It's the perfect passive stimuli while working or doing something else. Thumbs up to the writer and the vooceactors and the people that maintained this series. I only wish you have more chapters to feed us survivors.

Thankyou!

Ike
Apr 25th, 2017, 09:08 PM
Hello Survivors, I'm Ike. I am a big fan of the zombie genre. To me it symbolizes something far darker than just scary undead people. The zombie is a metaphor for what scares those of us that love them, the most. An invisible, incurable threat. It is 100% contagious, and 100% lethal. It is uncontrolled and it is spreading, consuming, and coming for us. That of course, is what is so scary about an outbreak of something like Ebola.

I have written a few short stories about zombie outbreaks, usually attributing it to weaponized rabies. I would love a chance to write for this PodCast. I only recently found this PodCast, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, so I started tow rite stories for her to read, while recovering, and lately also started to find audio books for her to listen to. Then I discovered We're Alive. She loves it.

As for me, Im late 40's, rather out of shape, nothing really going on in my life. I have spent time in the Marine Corps. as well as worked with a firm that made parts for the Stinger missile. I love to play games like This War Of Mine, DayZ, and Arma 3 Epoch. Today my mom lives with me, so I can take care of her. I work nights, leaving me plenty of time to write.

I hope to be accepted into your community. I don't know how much I have to offer, but I plan to write some stuff for the series anyhow, even if they don't want to use any of it. I suppose that is how it works when someone just loves to write. If nothing else, my mom and anyone here can read what I do and laugh at it or enjoy it. So I will leave you all with best wishes and I hope to hear far more in the future.

I'm Kitty. I've been a huge fan of TWD since it first premiered. Even after ditching cable tv, I subscribe to each season.

I stumbled onto WA while looking for podcasts to listen to while I do my crafting stuff (knitting, spinning, weaving). Live performances on podcasts are way more interesting than audiobooks; and I don't have to look away from my work. Win-win. Right now, I'm binge-listening from the beginning. So, back to listening!

Don't get bit!

Apr 19th, 2018, 05:51 PM
Well, let's see here...

I go by 'Muir' on the internet, and I live in the middle of nowhere in Tennessee. I've been a horror fan for quite a while now, and one horror trope I've always had a soft spot for is zombies, so of course when I found 'We're Alive' on Google Play I was -instantly- hooked. I used to listen to these 'Adventures in Odyssey' tapes as a kid, and finding a cool radio drama was awesome to begin with, but having it be about a zombie apocalypse? I was in heaven. I've downloaded the episodes to my MP3 player so I can listen to it at work, and I'm on my 3rd round of listening to it now, but I still get chills when I hear the creatures calling others into the area.

I have some weirdness to me, but who doesn't, am I right? I hope y'all don't mind me popping in from time to time and saying hi~

Hey,

I'm Geoff, I'm from Inverness (Highlands of Scotland). I love all things Zombie and started listening to We're Alive in 2012 and was instantly hooked. I downloaded as many episodes as were available at the time and took an 8 month long camping journey around Australia with my brother where we would sit at night drinking beers in silence just listening to WA on a portable speaker. Whenever we got the opportunity to have some internet connection I would download more episodes. Since that time I have listened to WA - A story of survival in it's entirety 4 times. I forgot about WA for a few years and just remembered about it a few months back, I have just finished listening to it for the 5th time and only just listened to WALD for the first time......maaaaan that was cool.

Really looking forward to Gold Rush when it eventually comes! :britt:

I read a lot. I listen a lot. I type a lot; sometimes, for no reason at all. In fact, lately I have to have a laptop or phone or tablet in front of me and sometimes I start typing the words as fast as I can type them as I'm hearing them. Sure - that's a weird thing to type in an intro - but, I am weird.
I'm an applied physicist and I am a hiking fisher. That's all I can think of right now, because I'm still listening...

My name is Chris. I turn 50 this year. Im a disabled veteran of the United States Marine Corps. I am a fan of most things zombie and apocalytic. I am currently working on writing my first (of many, hopefully 🤞) book and am always looking (or in this case listening) for ideas and inspiration from every source i can find. This is my first podcast and even though im only 3 episodes in, im definitely hooked. Its just good stuff.

Hello from Malaysia! YouTube via We’re Alive D&D brought me to We’re Alive and I absolutely love it. When my eyes get tired of looking at screens I switch the podcast on and I’m transported to my happy place. Horror fan (just watched Netflix’s Ju-On Origins series), Gamer (just finished Last of Us 2), sci-fi geek (fav cosplay as Chewbacca), D&D adventurer (fan of Critical Role), but also a salaryman and payer of bills. In a zombie world, I’d be the first to get bit. Seriously. So very glad to have found this Tower!

I was just curious to see if anyone was actually in here anymore. The forum was poppin during the original series and even during the Lockdown series. Sadly is looks to be dead now. Anyways, love the entire series, sequels included. Would love for the team to do another. Do another Kickstarter if need be.

Hello Everyone!

I'm Mikael and I listened to the first 19 chapters a couple of years ago when I had watched the stream of We're Alive - Frontier. I did a rewatch of the stream this week and thought to myself that I should finish the original podcast since I had noted how far I'd listened. So I started to look for it online, free or at a cost, and I only found the first 10 chapters and chapter 44 to 48 of the original pod. And that is when I found you. I've finaly found the chapeters that I miss so I'll start listening to them now :D

Hello! My name is Demetrius and I'm from Northern Canada. I've been a We're Alive fan for about half a decade now, sadly I got into it pretty late. I've always been a huge fan of the series and I really enjoyed listening to it. When I learned there was a Wiki, I started helping out with making everything more accurate. However, that was on my old account "Demetrius H." I took a long break from We're Alive and when I came back I lost my password, so until I remember it I have a new account.

I feel pretty bad for people who missed out on We're Alive when it wasn't complete. I got in right after the first season concluded, so I managed to catch all the wild forum banter and theorizing while the show was still developing. It was so much fun. Glad to have ya back anyhow!

Yeah, I'm really glad to see that Moderators are still on here too. This site is definitely a relic and I have worried for a while now that people are losing interest in WA and the forums.

I wouldn't say people have lost interest. But gone are the days where we as a community have lots to discuss. Also back in the day there wasn't nearly as many audio dramas to get into. There's lots of great stuff out there to listen too. We're waiting for KC's next audio release, AND there is plenty of chatter on reddit.com/r/werealive (http://reddit.com/r/werealive). Plenty of people on Reddit if you want to check that place as well.
