How long has it been?

I was just listening to the first part of chapter one and just noticed that Michael says "I was 27 at the time" and that line makes me think this isn't his first diary entry but maybe his last and perhaps even will tie in to the end of the series. What do you guys think?

michael was 27, in 2009, but the we're alive timeline doesnt seem to match our time line, because there are week long breaks between single days of action, not to mention there was the summer break between seasons. i think i remember kc saying it had been like 6 months or something, but i can't actually remember.

The series started in May, and it is now August.

How do you know it started in may and ended in august? Does it say somewhere? Cause it rained once or twice and it never rains during summer in so cal.

The May 8, 2009 date comes from the first episode, and a couple weeks back, KC posted saying that we're currently in August.

For an additional date point, remember that the party they have right before the Mallers attacked was a 4th of July party
