Anyone here want to be the official We're Alive Reddit master? I have no idea how the system works, but I want us to have more of a presence there. Anyone looking to volunteer? We'll figure out perks later, but who's interested?

I would be very happy to volunteer, I'm on Reddit ALL the time, so I have a good idea of how it works. (I also subscribe to the zombie subreddit!)

I have pretty good karma, but what were you looking at doing? Creating a subreddit? That would probably be best use scenario.

Reddit really isn't one of those beasts you tame by just poking at it. A subreddit would at least help users group, and then begin to push content higher.

I am very interested in becoming the "Reddit Master", I am on Reddit daily and since I work at a computer repair shop I have access to the site all hours of the day. I absolutely love reddit, zombies, and We're Alive so this would be the perfect "sidejob" for me. Thanks for your consideration.

Ok, so 3 people are up for the task. like j0be said it's not something we can master by poking at it. Would it be ok for all three of you to combine the efforts on reddit? and this subreddit? We could use this forum as a form of communication. Is that something feasible? or do you think there should be only one?

@Kc I think 3 people is a great idea. This way the subreddit can get moderated more often than one person alone could do, also it is that many more people to advertise the subreddit

Done and Done. You Three are now the Top Dogs. If we get any more people interested, they'll come second to you all. I'll take a back seat and let you guys talk about how to get this ball started. I have a decent tech background, but I'm still learning how reddit works. If there something I need to do to get it started?

Sounds cool. When you make a subreddit, you can customise the look of it. Are there any specific colours/images you want to use?

You can use anything you can get a hold of on the Wiki, there's a lot there and some more high res images here:

There's an audio drama reddit I found this morning too!

Also, j0be, I'll send him a PM.

What's your username to give to them?

Updated the CSS for the subreddit. Let me know what you think. I can mess with it more. If you have any suggestions, let me know.

There is only 3 users subscribed to that subreddit, though. Really, until you get more readers, it becaomes hard to get things promoted anywhere near the front page. If you ever want to hit the front page, your post needs to become popular, and to do that it needs to be seen.

One subreddit I've been puzzled at why it isn't more popular* is /r/TIL (http://reddit.com/r/TIL).

*What I really meant was more that the subscribers to that subreddit don't really upvote much.
